Starling Mastercard not accepted online in accounts

Having activated my Starling debit card I have been trying to add it as a payment option on some of my online accounts (Uber, Netflix, Amazon etc.).

Every time I do I get variations on the theme of the card not being recognised. I tried adding some cash to my account to see if that would help but it hasn’t.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so do you know how to overcome it? Please forgive me if it’s been answered elsewhere but I have looked an can’t see it. Thanks

I’m fairly new to Starling, but one of the things I would suggest checking is if it’s enabled. If you go to the card section on your app and select “Security”, you should see an option for “Online payments”.

Had to turn online payments off and on again (!) but it works now. Many thanks!!
