Overdraft and fees and interests for savings

Not sure if this has been proposed if I use my overdraft and i am say overdrawn by £500 and I have savings of £1000 I don’t pay credit interest on my £500 to levy against the overdraft fee and I would earn interest above that balance In my savings account.

Like offsetting Debit APR against Credit interest.

That’s what already happens.

Any money in a ‘Savings Goal’ is actually still sat in your main current account - it’s just ring fenced.

So, if you have £1000 in a Savings Goal and a £500 overdraft, you’re actually £500 in credit.
