Error in mail merge addressing

Hi @StarlingSupport. What went wrong with yesterday’s mass email advising that you’d updated your privace notice?

I received two emails, I presume one for my personal account, and one for my business account. Neither one was addressed to me correctly. See attached screen grabs. First one I’m called “null”, the other I’m blank! No biggy, but this makes the bank look unprofessional and sloppy, and certainly doesn’t make me feel like I’m “…the centre of everything [you] do.”

We are sorry about this bug @Brad_T, it impacted some customers who have business accounts.

As soon as this was raised with us, we corrrected the way any other emails were addressed, before they were sent.

Definitely something we’ve learnt from, and sorry again.
