We need to be able to assign categories to all types of transaction as well as in both directions.
I’m currently on holiday with my wife. She paid for something using her Starling card, and then I transferred my half from my Starling account to hers. I then went to categorise the transfer as “holiday” but noticed you can’t categorise transfers. My wife also realised she couldn’t categorise the inbound payment in her account.
This, combined with the fact that payments/transfers don’t get factored in either, makes Spending Insights and categories a bit pointless as you don’t get the full picture. Inaccurate information is worse than no information.
