Can't see overdraft



I’m starting to consider at least a partial switch to Starling, but I need an overdraft of some sort to be able to make it work.

However, I can’t see an overdraft section anywhere on my app. I’m as sure as I’m ever going to be that it’s not because of my credit history, which is in good order (or so Experian, Equifax and callcredit tell me), so I wonder if anyone can help with what the issue might be?

I’m not sure what device you’re using, but on Android it appears in “Account Management”


You will need to contact support in app. My wife had to do it recently. The overdraft section in account management was missing


It’s a Pixel 2 XL with latest Android version and starling version, so it should be ok on that front.

I think if you don’t do the overdraft on initial sign up the option disappears

  • hamburger
  • account management (first after the horizontal divider)
  • overdraft (third option)

You will only see the overdraft section in the app if you have been offered one as that is where you control the overdraft amount.

You will need to get in touch with us to see if you are eligible for a new overdraft check :+1:t3:
